These cylindrical air clamps were used to hold fiberglass spools that would rotate to wrap wind turbine blades. The spindle is designed to be charged with air to expand teeth along its length that grip a cylidrical spool or drum. This one is designed to clamp to about 60-65mm inner diameter spools. These have been tested with air and are working properly.
