Here is a Yale control pendant retractable cord reel. This was previously used to control a Yale winch in an aircarft test cell. The Square D pendant can be used for any number of applications including gantry cranes, test fixtures, etc. The reel has 6 conductors which appear to be ~14 gauge wire so we are guessing it can handle about 10-15 amps per conductor, but this is not marked anywhere. It unwinds and retracts easily without effort, but is making a slight squeaking sound from the bearings while rotating. The slip ring itself is fine and all conductors and brushes are making excellent contact.
